Submission guidelines for IEEE-format manuscripts
BIFE 2024 invites original, previously unpublished research contributions across — but not limited to — the following technical areas:
Deep learning, ensemble methods, reinforcement learning, transfer learning applied to asset pricing, portfolio construction, return prediction.
PD/LGD/EAD modeling, scoring, IFRS 9 / CECL implementation, credit scoring with alternative data.
Volatility forecasting, expected shortfall, copulas, stress testing, multivariate risk models.
Limit order book modeling, statistical arbitrage, market making, execution algorithms.
Sentiment analysis, news analytics, earnings call analysis, large language models in finance.
Mobile payments, digital wallets, P2P lending, robo-advisors, embedded finance.
DLT, smart contracts, decentralized finance, central-bank digital currencies (CBDC), tokenization.
Regulatory compliance automation, transaction monitoring, fraud detection, KYC, behavioral biometrics.
Data warehousing, OLAP, ETL, KPI dashboards, semantic layers, business analytics architectures.
MCDM, fuzzy DSS, group decision making, knowledge-based DSS, expert systems for management.
Agent-based simulation, evolutionary game theory, prospect theory in algorithms, market psychology.
ESG scoring, climate-risk modeling, green bonds, sustainability-linked instruments.
Format. All submissions must follow the official IEEE conference proceedings template (two-column, 10pt Times Roman). Use the IEEE templates available at ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html.
Length. Regular papers: 6–8 pages including references. A maximum of 2 additional pages may be added at a per-page fee at the camera-ready stage.
Originality. Submissions must be original work not concurrently under review elsewhere. IEEE CrossCheck similarity scans are applied to all accepted manuscripts.
Review. Double-blind peer review by at least three program committee members. Acceptance rate target: 35-40%.
Submission System. EasyChair — easychair.org/conferences/?conf=bife2024
IEEE PDF eXpress. Camera-ready PDFs must be validated through IEEE PDF eXpress prior to submission.
